History
In 2000, Rich Rogi and Ted Beswetherick started the Nose Creek Electrical journey with just the two of them answering the phone and tending to service calls and small construction projects. Since then the company has grown, and our office is located in the Starfield Industrial area at 102, 5510 – 53rd St SE.
Rich and Ted have always taken pride in providing great service and quality workmanship. They have a well-trained staff of Journeymen and Apprentice electricians to look after any aspect of the electrical construction and service sectors. They also remain directly involved with the daily operations of the company, including answering the phone, estimating, and managing NCES projects and service calls.
NCES has proudly maintained its COR certificate since 2010 and keeps an up-to-date safety program.
The team
NCES only employs qualified Journeyman and indentured apprentice electricians. The management team has spent decades in the field.
Co-Founder
Rich started his career in electrical in 1989 and finished his apprenticeship in 1993. He worked as a Journeyman with a service-related company for seven years prior to starting NCES, received his Masters certificate in 2000, and has worked in all fields of the electrical industry in Alberta. He is highly motivated in terms of service and satisfaction of customers.
President & Co-Founder
President and co-owner of Nose Creek Electrical Services since 2000, Ted started in the electrical industry in 1989. He received his Red Seal certification as an electrician in 1995, followed by Certified Master Electrician in 1998. Ted has been involved in many aspects of the industry — from large construction projects, to design builds, to one-hour service calls.
Managing Director & Co-Owner
With 18 years of experience as a Red Seal electrician, Mike holds a CTEC Diploma from Thompson Rivers University and completed his electrical apprenticeship through SAIT, finishing the Electrical Engineering Technician (EET) program in 2025. Part of the NCES ownership group, his expertise spans commercial electrical, project management and estimating.
Director of Field Operations & Co-Owner
Gerry is a dedicated, skilled and reliable Electrical Foreman with over 14 years of experience in the electrical industry at NCES. Part of the NCES ownership group, he has a strong passion for delivering top-notch electrical service and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all clients.
Special Projects Manager
Terry has been with NCES for 20+ years and is the NCES Special Projects Manager.
Project Manager & Foreman
Anthony has been with NCES for 17 years and is a project manager and foreman.
Supervisor / Foreman
Jeff has been a Supervisor and Foreman with NCES for 10+ years.
